The Ladies Meet The Queens

It was a rather warm Saturday. Folks are out brunching and lunching. You see folks running around in shorts in February. It was the perfect day to sit outside and just enjoy the air. Lane and Sonya decided to have a girls day. Sonya didn’t want to leave the house at first. She was having hair issues. She left her extensions at home. It was not going to be a bun day. Especially, when it’s nice out.

From Dating to Becoming Official

It’s Sunday morning and Sonya wakes up to a few missed calls. Her godmother, dad and Jonathan has been calling nonstop. It took her a while to find her phone. She had a wild virtual date with Jonathan. He’s been quarantined since he’s been back from a family trip. So, it’s been nothing but virtual action for them. They’ve managed to make it work. However, the quarantine is over and it’s Valentine’s Day.

The Smoothie that has taken me back.

I’ve been really reminiscing watching these Saturday morning cartoons on MeTv. I would get up each Saturday and sit with a bowl of cereal. It’s definitely mind blowing as an adult. That I’ve sat through half of these. Some of the these cartoons were just foolish. Then there are some that I totally remember. I didn’t want cereal this go round. So, I decided to make it in the smoothie form.
