The oldest and most fascinating feud. Bette Davis vs. Joan Crawford

From the time I was able to talk. I’ve been hearing about these two women. My mom explained it to me when I was able to understand it. However, I’m fascinated about this. I’ve watched many documentaries, read autobiographies and heard stories from people that have met them. Bette Davis and Joan Crawford are in a tie for Chazz’s favorite actress. She’s My Favorite Movie Star!

Whether it’s our favorite singer, actor, restaurant, planet… You get where I’m coming from. It just so happens that mine turned out to be three women. Actually, it would be four awesome ladies. Whitney Houston, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford and My mother Charlene. She’s the one that gotten me into them in the first place. It turned out that they would become major influences in my life. Of course, my mom was. She was the greatest person on earth. I mean… Look at her production. I think I’m a solid dude. 😉

Mildred Pierce’s 75th Anniversary!!!

It was September 28, 1945. That may have put Joan Crawford back on top. It was two years since she made a film. A good five has past. Since, she had a major hit. She’s been in the game since 1924. She was willing to do whatever it took to get back on top. Thankfully, she had a friend in Jerry Wald.

The 1950’s melodramas were so amazing!! Some were ahead of its time. For example Queen Bee starring Joan Crawford. This film is based on a Southern family that is ruled by a tyrant. She wreaks all kinds of havoc and will destroy you. If you’re not on her side.
