It Was A Great Weekend

I haven’t enjoyed an Easter weekend since I was probably a teenager. I remember that I would always go to Coney Island after church. I would have to beg and plead that I wasn’t going to see any cousins. I always felt that seeing certain family members after church will defeat the purpose of giving praise. My mom was super religious and called the majority of the family sinners and just plain evil. She was somewhat right, some are just not good. Anyway, this Easter weekend was extremely productive.

I’ve worked on a short film. Which also is a pilot for a series. The project is titled “Touched” it’s a story that shines on the spotlight on the trauma and mental health issues surrounding relationships that suffer from communication breakdowns. I play “Cutty” he’s Missy’s close friend that has his two cents in everything. I had a blast filming this scene. I’ve finally had a chance to work with two actresses that I’ve admired their work for quite some time.

After we finished we chilled for a bit. Then as usual, I had to run. I was co-hosting a job fair at the funeral home. A lot of great candidates were interviewed for a few positions. We shall see what happens next. By the time I reached home. I was exhausted and I felt a second wind coming from left field. My body wasn’t trying to hear it. I had to go to sleep. I wanted to get up and go to church in the morning. Which ended up being a virtual thing. I had zero energy to get out of the house. This man was completely done.

Once service has ended. I began working on my music and animated series. This burst of energy has come from nowhere. Next thing you know it was midnight. I’m so happy that I didn’t have to work this Monday. I only work the first two Monday’s of the month. I’m sorry… I always felt that Monday’s are absolutely pointless. I call it Sunday 2.0. Also, I’m not working a Monday for anyone. Unless, it’s at the funeral home. I’ll do it for the family business. I enjoy being at the funeral home. I’ve learned so much. It’s funny how I’ve learned more about this business in a month. I’ve been in the beauty business for years and I still don’t get it. Nor, do I want to. Byeeeee, I’m out!!!!

I uploaded episode 10 of The Chazz Show. I’m the actual guest star on my own series. Alex and James did the writing, editing and directing. I just looked over the production and gave my approval. Check it out.

Also, you can check out the short film Touched. It’s available on Amazon Prime, Tubi and Caribbean zone TV.

Don’t forget to pre-order the theme song to The Chazz Show. Titled “Get Up!” Available on all music streaming platforms on April 29.

Just some skinny pizza eating freak from Brooklyn. A lot of people say that I'm awesome. Which is dope! Now I want the universe to think so too.
