New Year, Different Habits

Happy New Year!!! It’s that time when everyone is going to say… “I’m going to do something different.” I’ve said that in January 2020. Well, I did! Mainly, because I was forced. I didn’t really have a choice. I’ve become so familiar with my home. The Real Housewives were coming to their season finales. What was I to do? I thought… “Everyone is going to gain weight or look older than they are.” Due to the stress of lockdown. I wasn’t going to come out looking rough. That’s a no-no! I’ll leave that for some of the Homies. With that said…. I’ve learned how to take care of my skin better. Also, I’ve invested in a bullet for Christmas. I’ve been using it at least three times a day. I’ve used it so much that it  started smoking. It scared the living crap out of me.

While I wait…. I might as well eat something.

Took a trip to Bushwick. I had a quick bite and drink at Heavywoods. I truly miss the indoor section. We played pool and just carried on. Today we’re outside. Which we would normally do during the summer. However, we would run back and forth to get some air conditioning. My buddy was in the area. Of course, I had to wait for him to arrive. So, I went along and documented it. Why not? If you’re ever in the area. You should stop by. Continue reading “While I wait…. I might as well eat something.”

Make It Make Sense

Help me figure something out here… You were everyone’s favorite person to be around. It’s six months later and the mention of your name is followed by eye rolling and someone immediately changes the subject. That’s the part where I’m grateful for. You don’t want to hear negative things about a person. Especially if they’re not there to defend themselves. However, it’s things that people noticed. Its different when your with a person solo. As oppose to being with ten other people.

A cool Sunday afternoon spot.

What’s up, Allstars!! Last year my sister Renea took me to this cool Mexican restaurant. It’s called “Pequena”. It’s very cozy and small. The staff is super friendly. Since then I’ve been stopping by for a drink. Whenever I’m in the Fort Greene area in Brooklyn. The food is so good. There were times I just hopped on the subway or uber from Canarsie. Just for a Shrimp Quesadilla. It’s totally worth the trip. This past Sunday, my best friend Nico and I. Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. We were trying to figure out what and where. As we gotten closer to Barclays Center. I yelled “Wait!!! My sister took me to this place. I know you’ll like it.” Guess what?? He enjoyed it!! He recommends the fish tacos. I recommend the quesadilla. If you’re in Fort Greene, it’s recommended that you stop in. 86 South Portland Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11217. Check out the amazing food we ate.
