Now I can get back to working on my album. With my right ear out of commission. I wasn’t able to record any vocals. We played it back and the sound of a person with a stuffy nose was coming from the speakers. I’m already under confident when it comes to my singing voice. So, I had to sit this out and wait for it to heal.
That saying… “The show must go on!” definitely plays a key role these days. We’ve had a few sessions booked for two artists. However, when one doesn’t show up with time and money being spent. There’s no room for waste. We did what we had to do. At first I’ve was extremely disappointed. Alex and James not so much. These two are use to this. I was just looking forward to wearing my producer hat for someone else.
This has been the fun part. As I’m putting myself out there. I’m trying to figure out who’s listening to what. What songs are people gravitating to? Are you a person or a bot? Who knows? It’s been interesting trying to find out.
One third of the dream team has been out of commission the past few days. That didn’t mean that we weren’t able to get anything done. Aside from us being on mini vacations this week. Shroomtown Productions was pretty busy this time with me at the helm.
