That saying… “The show must go on!” definitely plays a key role these days. We’ve had a few sessions booked for two artists. However, when one doesn’t show up with time and money being spent. There’s no room for waste. We did what we had to do. At first I’ve was extremely disappointed. Alex and James not so much. These two are use to this. I was just looking forward to wearing my producer hat for someone else.
This has been the fun part. As I’m putting myself out there. I’m trying to figure out who’s listening to what. What songs are people gravitating to? Are you a person or a bot? Who knows? It’s been interesting trying to find out.
I’ve googled and asked this question. Only to receive a 50/50 response. If you release a single. Everyone will be waiting for the next one. Especially, if it’s really good. If you release an album it can peak to quickly and fade fast. It’s definitely not how it was back in the day.
I have to give DistroKid their props! The videos and promotions that they offer is amazing! You just have to set your music to the correct part. It’s great how it comes out. Thankfully, they’ve added a few new choices to choose from!
That’s what my latest single is giving. It’s my first attempt at any hip hop sound. When we started working on this I fell in love with the funk that was fused. I suggested that we add a little G-Funk to give it more of that west coast sound in the 90s. The adlibs make it even cooler. Take a listen
Happy December Everyone! I’ve been spending time working on some new music. I’ve been watching a few master classes and just learning how to produce different genres of music. I’ve just completed an Ambient/Meditation track titled, Tranquility. It’ll be released everywhere on December 10th.
