I’ve just released the first episode of my new podcast series… The Chazz Anthoney Cabrera Podcast. Now I’m learning how to use Final Cut Pro. It’s a video editing app that has more to offer than iMovie. No shade to the app, that’s how I’ve learned how to somewhat edit videos. This time I’m watching tutorial after tutorial. This app costs some money…. I’ve seen the things that you can do. I’m pretty darn stoked about it!Continue reading “Something New…”
That’s what we were called the other night. Lixander, Parsons and I were actually having a great time recording. That what Jay was thinking. It was the total opposite. If the three of us could’ve thrown down, we would’ve.
The instrumentals are fun and all. However, it comes a time when you may have to showcase yourself. It’s been years that my vocal cords have been challenged. I’ve admitted repeatedly that I’m not the greatest. However, I can definitely hold a note. Also, I was told that I have very good range. It’s been a year and three months that I’ve given up cigarettes. That has played a huge part in the change since I’ve sang. Along with a good friend that knows how to tweak vocals in the studio.
We can finally check this off! My music has went from SoundCloud to all music streaming platforms. Effective today!!! It’s crazy seeing my work on Apple, Spotify and Tik Tok. It feels pretty gnarly! It’s officially my solo debut!!! It has taken me a minute and change to get here. Previous posts will explain it all. I’m so pumped!!!
The Booger Mob comes to work in the studio. This time the cigarette smoker isn’t around to leave the back door open. Jay is a Newport pulling nut. However, when he’s working on music it’s strictly edibles and flowers. It’s not going to be much of a barnyard activity. They have to complete songs for an upcoming album and tour. He’s not playing with them. I call them the Booger Mob because of their antics. This was the first time I’ve ever seen them focused and ready to rock out.Continue reading “The Boogers Stopped By”
Lixander calls me in for an emergency meeting. I love his emergencies. It’s never anything insane. Thank goodness! The way he gets excited you would think so. It’s just he has an idea that’ll definitely work for someone or something. This has been his going on for years. Jay mentioned that he should just write it in the notes or a voice memo. His excuse was not a good one. However, it was one that Jay was not going to continue. It was a simple “Who wants to do all of that?” I laughed hysterically to Jay’s displeasure.Continue reading “The Odd Couple in Music”
