It was around 6:45am. We’re having our morning coffee. Ever since I’ve requested help with everything that I’m doing lately. It’s a “We” thing now. It was pretty easy to get use to. Also, I don’t mind having someone that I trust. That’s keeping me focused on the daily. I’ll get lost in the sauce, super quickly.
That’s what we were called the other night. Lixander, Parsons and I were actually having a great time recording. That what Jay was thinking. It was the total opposite. If the three of us could’ve thrown down, we would’ve.
The instrumentals are fun and all. However, it comes a time when you may have to showcase yourself. It’s been years that my vocal cords have been challenged. I’ve admitted repeatedly that I’m not the greatest. However, I can definitely hold a note. Also, I was told that I have very good range. It’s been a year and three months that I’ve given up cigarettes. That has played a huge part in the change since I’ve sang. Along with a good friend that knows how to tweak vocals in the studio.
I’ve been connecting with a few of my artistic friends lately. Well, they’ve reached out to me after seeing a few posts on social media. The usual congratulations on what I’m doing and well wishes. Then I received a phone call from my guy James. Talking about filling out paperwork regarding copyrights and tax stuff. Huh?Continue reading “The Business Side…. Ummm, I think that I love it here.”
I’ve been working on some music in my downtime. As I mentioned many of times. That it was a joke on a date that led to a new venture. I’ll admit that it wasn’t as nerve wracking as I thought. I’m totally kidding!! There’s moments where I had a few completed and mastered. I totally ended up scrapping it all entirely. While I do have the recording experience. The creative process is freaking awesome!! I’m thankful for those that have lit a fire under me. I’ll mention them all in a future post.
