The Lead Off To A Mixtape

I’m pleased to announce that my single “Slaughter” is now available on all music platforms! It took me a while to get it right. In the beginning,, I clearly was just having fun and just excited to be learning how to create my own music. I was just all over the place. These days I’m taking my time. This is some serious business. Also, I just want everything to come out great.

From just plain noise to a smooth groove. We have a sense of direction. Thank goodness for James coming at me with that snippet. It made me change my mind about R&B. I just didn’t want to do it. While I most definitely enjoy it whenever I’m performing as a background singer. It’s totally awesome… That’s when it’s most enjoyable. It’s a dope vibe bouncing off one another on stage. However, as a solo artist I wanted to go in a totally different direction. I’m obsessed with Disco and House Music. As well as, psychedelic funk and rock. Which I’ll end up showcasing down the line.

Below you can listen and follow me on Spotify. Thank you so much in advance. Let me know what you think!!

When I first heard the track. It gave me a quiet storm vibe. Then I thought it didn’t need any words, just some libs. James suggested that we should add a female voice to the song. Parsons came through and did her thing. This time everyone had fun. It wasn’t any arguments, I’m shocked!! I’m even more excited about the tracks that we’ve completed. We have some R&B, Smooth jazz, Ambient and some Funk Tracks. The Glitch Hop songs are going to be on hold for a while. We’re on a complete roll with this. Also, I’m enjoying the feedback on this one. The upcoming mixtape date hasn’t changed. Just the musical content.

Thanks to James, Lixander, Parsons & Clara! Shout out to Toni Steelz, Everyday The Brand, Shroomtown Productions and The Popular Son Music Factory.

Just some skinny pizza eating freak from Brooklyn. A lot of people say that I'm awesome. Which is dope! Now I want the universe to think so too.
