The Smoothie that has taken me back.

I’ve been really reminiscing watching these Saturday morning cartoons on MeTv. I would get up each Saturday and sit with a bowl of cereal. It’s definitely mind blowing as an adult. That I’ve sat through half of these. Some of the these cartoons were just foolish. Then there are some that I totally remember. I didn’t want cereal this go round. So, I decided to make it in the smoothie form.

I was obsessed with Apple Jacks growing up. I would eat that cereal all day if I could. This came out really good. It takes like it. I added oat milk just because cereal needs milk. I wanted that vibe. I added Kale for greenness.

The ingredients that I used are….

1 cup oat milk
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 red delicious apple, chopped
1-2 cups baby kale or baby spinach
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons rolled oats
1 tablespoon of chia seeds

Add a little ice and blend that sucker up until smooth. Pour and enjoy!!!
